TASER International moved into its first building, which was 1,200 sq. ft., in September 1993 ; the second move in early 1995 was to a 6,500 sq. ft. building; and the third move in January 2001 was into a 11,900 sq. ft. building which still required us to rent out more space in three separate buildings for shipping, warehousing, engineering, operations and accounting in 2003 to create 25,900 square feet. TASER International moved and consolidated all of its office space into one single structure on April 1, 2005. Our new 100,000 sq. ft. building holds over 250 employees.

|
This state-of-the-art building includes three separate areas including: 33,333 sq. ft. for headquarters; 33,333 sq. ft. single story for production; and a two-story tall, 33,333 sq ft. warehousing and shipping area. The building has biometric access control via iris scanners. This is the largest installation of iris scanners in one building by LG. The facility is keyless, has fiber optic data networks, and motion-sensing light switches. We have open office octagonal cubicles with large flat panel monitors for all employees from CEO on down. There are 3-story tall window shades with product shots and the company logo and slogan of TASER International - Saving Lives Every Day - exposed directly to the heavy traffic of the 101 freeway.
Designed as the "Battleship in the Desert" theme, the facility has a primer gray color scheme, stainless steel accents, catwalks and "bridge concept" for two of the main conference rooms. Twelve conference rooms are available and are scheduled by computer monitors in front of each conference room. Each conference room, computer room, and our lunch room is named after prolific inventors and founders of science and electrical theories.

The Engineering Room is named the "Black Box" for its black tinted glass that keeps its R&D secrets under wraps but allows engineeres to maintain visual sight of the interior of TASER International's atrium and main stairway.
Architect / Contractor
TASER International used DFD Cornoyer Hedrick of Phoenix, Arizona as the architectural design firm and Ryan Companies of Phoenix, Arizona as the contractor.
