Feel the Power of NMI—Safely
Thor’s Hammer is a fast, hands-on demo that demystifies Neuromuscular Incapacitation (NMI)—what it is and what it isn’t. Participants grip a custom-engineered “hammer” chair and experience a safe, localized 5-second burst of NMI through the hand and lower forearm. As they try to release their grip mid-exposure, they feel how TASER technology temporarily overrides muscle control without causing lasting harm.
In under a minute, guests can walk away with a science-backed, realistic understanding of how TASER energy devices actually work. While most people “know” TASER energy devices from movies or myths, Thor’s Hammer turns curiosity into clarity—building trust through transparency and giving individuals the confidence to choose a safe and effective path to self-protection.
One Year In: TASER Self-Defense x USCCA Training Partnership
Education remains a cornerstone of the TASER Self-Defense mission. At SHOT Show 2025, TASER Self-Defense announced a national partnership with the U.S. Concealed Carry Association (USCCA) to bring TASER devices into the Non-Lethal Tools for Self-Defense Course—connecting individuals with high-quality, expert-led training across the country.
Now entering its second year, the program continues to scale. USCCA-certified instructors are training individuals on devices like the Pulse 2, helping them build skill and confidence through hands-on instruction. The network continues to grow in 2026, making responsible, accessible TASER training more available than ever.
