Where Should I Aim My TASER Device?
First, know your local laws and ordinances and also know your state laws that govern self-defense and use of force
Where Should I Aim My TASER?
In the event that you need to use your TASER device in self-defense, where should you aim?
There are some target areas more available and better than other areas. For example, in this target, someone that is heavily clothed in the upper body, but not in the lower body, you should aim for the lower body.
Areas to Avoid
Avoid heavy clothing. Look for clothes that fit tightest against the body. For example, oftentimes on a back target, a jacket or a shirt will be very tight against the upper portion of the body.
Look for areas of the body that have less body fat. We as humans carry a lot of muscle in the rear end of the body, and our back, our hamstrings and our thighs. Many of us are predisposed to carry fat in our bellies and in our hips. Try to avoid those areas.
Vulnerable Areas to Aim
Also, there are some areas more vulnerable than the others. For example, the groin. When I look at the face, if you're justified in the use of deadly force, then certainly anything goes when it comes to utilizing the TASER device to include the groin, the throat, the face and the eyes.
Keep in mind what areas of the body are going to be more readily accessible than others.
