TASERs are highly effective, just with basic use and basic knowledge of it.
My trust first began as I was introduced to it in the early stages of my career, transitioning from where I was assigned (in Corrections) and then going to patrol, and having more situational based times where I've had to not so much deploy it, but even just show it and gain compliance just on the simple display of (the TASER).
Even the application mitigates a lot of injuries prevented from myself, my partners and even to the person that's been deployed on.
The application that I've seen, the training I've seen behind it, and even more so taking an actual report in the field with somebody that had a civilian model and used it and was effective.
Which is even more of a sale for me, for my own family and especially my wife. This is a great tool. It's a game changer to make you feel safe in the community, especially in the communities that we live in.
