My name is Joe, and I have been in law enforcement for 36 years. TASER came along after I was on the job for a few years. I was a Defensive Tactics Instructor. And it was a new product that came out, and it was something everybody just thought was futuristic and a Star Wars-type device.
It was interesting to get some buy-in from the officers and stuff. I always had it with me when I'd go home, so my kids and my wife knew about it. I mean, they knew what it was. They knew what my duty weapon was, too. But they knew TASER was there.
It’s a safety thing. I know what it can do. I've seen it. I've lived it and worked with it for over 30 years. You know, 20 years TASER has been around, so it's an amazing product. And it's, you know, if it's good enough for law enforcement and can do stuff and change scenarios that we have to deal with, it's definitely a game changer for the public to make them safer and give them the ability to get out of a situation or save their lives.
